German for stay-at-home mothers

Through our individually planned lessons we do not concentrate on the correct Grammar at the beginning, instead in the first few weeks we focus on conversation skills how to express oneself in German as soon as possible.

Quickly learn to express yourself in day to day situations, making your next shopping trip, doctors appointment or cinema visit more achievable.

So you can easily settle into your new country.

You will see how fast you get your ideas across to other people.

Based on many years of experience with teaching foreigners the German language, we exactly know what topics you will need at the beginning.

Topics

  1. To introduce oneself: Where do you come from? What are you doing in Germany? What is your name?
  2. Habitation and relocation: Where do you live? How many rooms do you have? When did you get to Hamburg?
  3. Daily routine: What do you normally do at weekends? When do you get up on Mondays? When do you have breakfast?
  4. Appointments and dates: I would like to see the doctor on Friday. Do you want to go to the pictures on Friday night?
  5. Time: What time is it? When does the movie start? How long lasts the appointment?
  6. Orientation in a city: Where can I find a supermarket over here? Is there a pharmacy around here? Where can I buy my bus tickets?
  7. Work and jobs: What do you work? Where do you work? My husband is an engineer at Airbus.
  8. Travel and holiday: Where do we find the tourist center? Where have you been on holiday? Have you ever been to Paris?
  9. Food and drinks: How much are the tomatoes? Where do I find the beer? What does one eat in Germany usually?
  10. Visit a restaurant: What do you want to drink? Do you also have red wine? I would like to have a mixed salad.
  11. Clothes and colours: Do you have the dress also in red? Where can I find the changing room? How much is the pair of trousers?
  12. Weather and seasons: Tomorrow it is going to rain in Hamburg. When do the summer holidays start? Where do you go to your winter holidays?
  13. Body parts and health: I have a pain in my shoulder. Where does it hurt? Do you have a cream for dry hands?
